Raymond O'Donnell and David Grealy to perform at Dun Laoghaire

Raymond O'Donnell and David Grealy, both of whom have associations with the choir, will be performing as part of the 2009 Dun Laoghaire Summer Organ Concerts series.

Raymond has been director of music at Galway Cathedral since 1994, and down through the years, he has been a frequent accompanist with the choir. Indeed, he travelled and performed with us on our recent tour of Italy.

Raymond will be performing on Sunday, July 19th.

In Autumn 2008, David became organ scholar at Westminster Cathedral. Before heading to the UK, David was organ scholar at St. Mary's in Dublin, where he worked with the renowned Palestrina Choir. Before he left Galway to undertake his studies, he was a member of our bass fraternity, and pulled the ocasional shift as accompanist.

David will be performing on Sunday, August 30th.
