What do you need to join?

To join the Galway Baroque Singers you need to have

• a nice voice to sing in tune
• a good ear
• heaps of enthusiasm
• and of course a love for music

Sight reading ability while desirable is not necessary.

Commitment to rehearsals and performances is essential.

How often are rehearsals?

We rehearse once a week, though we often add rehearsals as performances approach.

When?

Wednesdays 20.00-22.30 (with a break for tea and chat)

Where?

Patrician Band Hall beside the station in Galway City.

Are there auditions?

Auditions are held periodically, usually at the beginning of a new term. These are advertised in the local newspapers and on this website. However there may be vacancies for new members during the year also.
